St. Margaret’s Auxiliary

St. Margaret’s auxiliary was organized February 20, 1980. From the beginning, St. Margaret’s has been an integral part of All Saints Parish, helping when help is needed.

The meeting is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am in the Parish Hall apart from June, July and August, the summer break, but activities are planned, i.e., afternoon tea, games, field trips, luncheons, sales, etc. St. Margaret’s is a busy group throughout the year managing different church concerns:  regular monthly food baskets for those in need; the Fifth Sunday Brunch set-up and events and activities throughout the year. The beautiful shawls and lap blankets in the pews made by the loving hands of the Needlework Arts ladies. They have brought much comfort when it gets a little chilly during the service.

It’s always sad when we have to say goodbye to one of our parishioners. We said goodbye to three of our friends this year. The ladies of St. Margaret’s like to give comfort to the bereaved when possible by catering a buffet after the service or take food to their home. We have a Compassion Committee who plan for those occasions.

The Auxiliary has helped with the church landscaping this past year. The roses along the parish hall wall have bloomed and bloomed. St. Francis came along and has cheered us up with his position between the buildings and all the new river rocks have kept those pesky weeds at bay!

Membership is open to all the ladies of the congregation.  Please join us.
